Both the iPhone and iPad users that happen to own an Xbox One at the same time can actually play their own Xbox games directly through the use of their very own iOS devices via the streaming feature.
As reported by The Verge, the known Remote Play feature actually requires the use of an Xbox One in order to work as it still runs the whole game on the console and simply streams it to the Xbox app on either the iOS or Android. This is quite similar to the known PS4 Remote Play app that is available for the PlayStation 4.

Another recent report by The Verge also revealed that Microsoft internally holds certain plans to bring the xCloud to the known Apple iOS. However, there is no specific release date as to an official confirmation that this is going to happen.
